The new version of eDitionForce® editing tool has been succesfully launched. We"ve kept our promise and brought to you a new very useful professional solution which will help you creating top noch ezines with new outstanding features even easier.

iPad

iPad/iPhone solution is now live and allows you to create one source with two different outputs. Unfortunatelly only link creation is available for self service as GUI for interactive features is still in testing. However creation of interactive iPad ezines out of Flash original is availbale but only supported from our team. See example of magazine InStyle here.

Solution for publishers supporting both web and iPad is in place. It allows easy creation and publishing , one source for both platforms (Android is comming soon!) and a payment system that controls distribution. Contact us for more information.

New set of front-end langauges

 New version brings some new front-end languages beside English, French, German, Italian, Slovenian and Spanish : Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Lithuanian, Norvegian,Portugese and Romanian.

Select menu on the top Edition>Edition Preferences, at the bottom of pop up window section »Edition style« select desired flipping style and transition.

Project Custodian

New kind of administrator has been introduced: a project Custodian. Custodian will receive automated system mesages on publication statuses (alerts on expiry: 30, 7 and 3 days before expiry). It should be an administrative person capable of deciding whether hosting should be pronloged after 1 year of hosting. Custodian function is binded to a particular Project and can be assigned from existing users with minimum credentials »login to Service pages«.

Copy/paste objects

User can now copy links,polylinks,ellipses,flash content,video content and images freely and paste them on other pages. Position and dimensions remain intact. On a right mouse click select »Copy items« or use »Ctrl C«. Paste it with a »Ctrl V« command or use »Paste items« on a right mouse click.

Multi Copy/paste objects

Selected object/s can be freely pasted to any other publication. Position and dimensions remain intact. Select »Multi select tool« from the toolbar and click on multiple objects using »Shift«. Paste it with a »Ctrl V« command or select »Paste items« menu on a right mouse click.

Paste to multiple pages

Selected object/s can be freely duplicated to one or more pages within current or any other publication. Position and dimensions remain intact. After selecting and copying objects use »Copy to multiple pages« on a right mouse click menu. Select desired publication and pages for copied objects to be laced and click »Save«.

Snap to grid tool

Selected object snaps to grid automatically. Select Magnet tool in a toolbar.

Detect links out of PDF text

Reads all http,email or https links automatically out of PDF text on creation (chek box: Detect links). Links can be edited later or assigned with a global interactive effect or design (Parameters>Link style).

Overwrite publication

Overwrite feature is now available directly from the opening menu (no need to open the publication). Simply select Project and Publication, press »Overwrite Edition« and browse for PDF. As you already know, all of the elements will stay in place after overwriting is finished.

SEO text improvent

Possibilty for adding keyword text and description on every separate page has been improved and expanded. It is strongly recomended that all the text from outer Flash files is also entered in a description field whitin particular page.
